DeKalb Farmer's Market was founded in
1977 as a small produce stand and now it has grown significantly to cover 140,000 square feet.
Inside shoppers will find a cornucopia of food and beverages of all kinds. This is truly a world market
with selections representing all four corners of the globe.

The Baltimore Farmers' Market

Where: Holliday and Saratoga streets under the Jones Falls Expressway

When: The first Sunday in June to the Sunday before Christmas in December

to the large quantity of the freshest fruits and vegetables, and delighted by the irresistible aroma of open
pit beef and just brewed coffee.
More than 40 farmers bring a wide selection of organic produce, cheeses, herbs, breads, fresh and dried
flowers, and pastries. The market remains a producers-only market which means farmers are required to grow
what they sell. This is the perfect place for the health conscious and budget concerned consumers who
appreciate locally grown and fresh produce..

Virgina

The Del Ray Farmers' Market

Where: The corner of East Oxford and Mount Vernon Avenues in Alexandria, Virginia

When: Saturday from 8:00 am - Noon

The Del Ray Farmers' Market offers high-quality fruits and vegetables. The Market also carries
flowers, homemade jams and fresh-baked goods. Many of the vendors are either certified organic,
or use very low levels of pesticides. The farmers grow everything themselves, and are dedicated
to sustainable agriculture.
